Privacy Policy

Last updated:

sudotools.dev provides free, browser-based utilities for system and network administrators. We aim to collect as little as possible.

Your inputs

Everything you enter — IP addresses, subnet masks, MAC addresses, firewall rules, server configs — is processed entirely in your browser. This data is never sent to or stored on any server we control. No account or sign-up is required.

MAC vendor database

The MAC address lookup loads a static copy of the public IEEE OUI registry into your browser on first use. The MAC address you enter is matched locally; it is not transmitted anywhere.

Advertising & cookies

We may use third-party advertising (such as Google AdSense) to support this free site. Third-party vendors, including Google, use cookies to serve ads based on your prior visits to this or other websites. You can opt out of personalised advertising via Google Ads Settings, or learn more at aboutads.info.

Analytics

We may use privacy-respecting analytics to understand aggregate traffic. This does not personally identify you.
